One of the biggest issues that is plaguing the world today is the matter concerning ISIS. The terrorist group known as ISIS has been terrorizing people from all places over and world and for the most part, nobody's done anything in retaliation-- that is until the King of Jordan did, proving that if people are pushed to their limits, they will strike back at people who abuse power. In response to ISIS burning a pilot from Jordan alive in a cage, the king of Jordan had the Jordanian Armed Forces strike back after which Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh later proclaimed, "'We are upping the ante. We're going after them wherever they are, with everything that we have. But it's not the beginning, and it's certainly not the end (CNN News).'" When ISIS struck too close to home, the people of Jordan decided that they could no longer just sit back and watch. Before the burning of the Jordan pilot, Jordan (like nearly every other country) didn't try too hard to do anything in response to the terror that ISIS was constructing. The killing of the pilot forced Jordan to truly see all the horrors that ISIS was unleashing on the world and caused them to finally be willing enough to strike back against ISIS. In a Fox News article about the same topic, US President Barack Obama met with Jordan King Abdullah II. In the meeting, Obama remarks, "'It's just one more indication of the viciousness and barbarity of this organization, and I think it will redouble the vigilance and determination on the part of the global coalition to make sure that they are degraded and ultimately defeated (Fox News).'” The death of the Jordanian pilot is causing anger to rise not just among the citizens of Jordan, but in other countries throughout the world. Seeing how truly inhumane ISIS could be is resulting in the necessity that people feel towards putting an end to ISIS, and in people's desire to do something in retaliation instead of just sitting back and allowing ISIS to continue its terrorization.
